The first movie we watched together. Spiderman! : )
Our last day while I was in Bangkok, we went to the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, then also Wat Pho (the temple of the Reclining Buddha).
This was my first time visiting a Thai temple and was quite amazed at the beauty.

"The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is the most sacred structure in the Kingdom and the repository of the spirit for all the Thai people. The history of the Emerald Buddha itself dates back more than 600 years and also represents the struggle of the Thai people to maintain their independence from foreign aggressors.

When King Rama I established Bangkok, or Rattanakosin, as his capital in 1782 he added the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the eastern section of the Royal Grand Palace in order to install the Emerald Buddha. During its two hundred year history the Chapel had undergone several renovations, restorations, and additions. The Royal Chapel thus incorporates no less than two centuries of Rattanakosin craftsmanship which is an expression of the essential entity of the Thai people.

A visit to Bangkok is not complete without a visit to this very important Temple. We will show you the many spectacular buildings along with a history of the Emerald Buddha itself which we hope will give you a better understanding of Thai history and its people. The related stories listed below are just some of the many spectacular building and monuments inside the grounds of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha."

Anyway, after we visited the temples, we went to our first movie. As we both are quite movie fans especially sci-fi and action, Spiderman is the best selection for our first movie date! : )

You're not Superman, you know.
I had to watch the movie with Thai subtitles, but I didn't really notice them after a while. I thought it was pretty cool actually.

We will never forget our first movie.

Nowadays, everytime we talk about movies, Spiderman is our sweet recall as our holding-hands movie : )
Even though Spiderman is far from being a romantic movie, we highly recommend any couple to watch it together and remember to keep holding hands of your loved one. That's enough to create your own very romantic movie : )

We love Magic!
Afterall, our love is a magic.

During Todd's second visit to Thailand, we didn't miss a chance to revive our romantic movie date. This time, we chose Harry Potter "Chamber of Secrets" and were not at all disappointed. Well, again it is not a romantic movie, but we both had a great time and we loved the movie! We exchanged our tickets and promised to reattach them when we are together again.

Our Timeline

I'll never forget the view we had from our bungalow.
I called this small island "Gilligan's Island".
It really did resemble it. hehe

Anyway, this was a very relaxing way to spend a day.....just sitting on the porch watching the tide come in.

The Lord of The Rings
In the year 2003, we are going to be finally together. We plan to celebrate our reunion with our most favorite movie.
"Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King"

Tell us about your romantic movies!
